BIRD IN SPACE
Eyewear frame is a sculpture. Three dimensional object in space. „Bird in Space” by Constantin Brâncuși poses seductive, irresistible hunch to create common a denominator between the sculpture and the frame. Task difficult in its simplicity and execution. Crafting volume similar, but different with its own spirit. Inspired by the Bird but distant enough to be distinguishable. Practical genuine utility object, but based on pure abstract art created just for the sake of pure aesthetics. Dream exercise for designers. Tuning-up to us was like writing poetry. It was greatly enjoyed. The first choice element was the temple, carved and polished in Japanese Titanium.
